The Second National Mass Entrepreneurship and Innovation Week kicked off on Oct 12, 2016 in Shenzhen Bay Inno Park. Minister of Science and Technology Wan Gang and Chairman of the National Developmentand Reform Commission Xu Shaoshi attended the opening ceremony.

CEAM Dean Zhang Shuyan and Deputy Dean Zhang Peng were invited to the opening ceremony. On behalf of all the scientists, Dean Zhang Shuyan opened up a spectacular discussion of entrepreneurship and innovation with Premier Li Keqiang.

During the launch of the Shenzhen mass entrepreneurship and innovation week, CEAM was recognized and encouragedby Premier Li, Minister Wan Gang and other officials. Minister Wan Gang emphasized the great importance of science and technology entrepreneurs and high-tech industries at the opening ceremony.

CEAM will keep up with the demand for the institutional innovations of the scientific research institutions and explore the best way for the institute growth, and eventually become a representative of scientific institutions expanding the application of the national large-scale scientific facility and enhancing its effectiveness on scientific research. CEAM will also make positive contributions to the construction of the large-scale scientific facility of Guangdong province and the development of national entrepreneurship and innovation.
